Nestled between Herne Bay and Canterbury, The Curious Cat is a traditional country pub reborn with charm and character. Previously known as The First & Last, our pub was completely refurbished in 2019, blending countryside hospitality with a quirky modern twist.
We adore dogs here and welcome all well-behaved pooches. Keep them on a lead and by your side, and we'll treat them to a free biscuit and fresh water. Let us know when you book so we can find a perfect table for everyone — paws and all.
Our chalkboard specials are crafted fresh each day using local ingredients. And on Sundays, don't miss our legendary roasts served from 12–4:30pm. Perfect for large gatherings — just remember to book ahead!
